We had the honor of showcasing MiNet0-1 with Brett Little of the Greenhome Institute on Earth Day. Brett organized the webinar as a virtual tour. We reviewed our goals for the house, dove into details of the construction process, virtual-toured the finished house, and examined some of the final performance results. You can watch our deep dive and listen to the Q&A here on the GHI YouTube channel. Brett included video clips from the construction timeline in the background.
Brett also invited Lindsey Elton from Eco-Achievers to speak about their certification work and Kristin Corra to present on Climate® Non-Slump (NS) Adhesive, which we used extensively throughout the project. There was lots of interaction with Brett and the audience (147 people) that made it an enjoyable and hopefully informative webinar for everyone.
Brett put together a written summary of the webinar here, including more Q&A responses.
You can also take a virtual tour of the house yourself here at this Matterport site. Note that you can click on the pins and learn more about the materials, assemblies, and appliances used through the house.
This house is for sale. If you know potential homebuyers who want to live near downtown Grand Rapids, are eco-conscious, and are able to invest in a premium home, please send the link to this new “For Sale” web page. The buyer will model the way toward a sustainable, flourishing world and enable us to build MiNet0-2!
